Ok one thing that maybe we have not made clear, and we thought was just generally understood, is that once the file compression is done it does not happen again. It is a one-off operation. The files should have been compressed, but there were many months with versions where Sierra Chart was not enabling compression on files. After updating to newer versions, the compression will be enabled, assuming you did not enable compression on the folder or the files yourself previously, and once the OS compresses them then everything is fine.
