Thanks for explanation. This one is obvious but its meaning could be easily overlooked: Manual looping is going to be more efficient than automatic looping because the study function is called only once during a full recalculation.
So if a study makes some big data preparation and has to build own preliminary data structures based on market depth info for example, this can be done once rather than doing same job for every bar.
