Whether it makes sense or not newer versions of the installer/file downloader will not run on my Windows 10 machine. If it were a security software issue on my machine then I would think the older version would not run either. Besides that I turned off all security and whitelisted the file! Just stating the facts of what works and what doesn't work but I'm keeping my copy of the v6 downloader to do upgrades because it's the only one that works for me. |
