This sounds great! I have just used the 'Translate Symbols' function and seemingly - at this time - the new format is available for CBOT symbols only. It is expressed by the new '-CBOT' addition to the symbol name and the availability of the category '...CBOT (Old)' but I do not see this available for the CME, COMEX, NYMEX, EUREX symbols yet. Is there any other setting that I need to adjust? I'm currently using the 2177 version - do I need to update to the 2178 pre-release? Or the new symbols will automatically available? One additional question: after the old symbol formats will be finally removed, will that break compatibility with old recorded market depth data that was saved using the previous symbol format? |
