When I try to run the above script... at the end, I'm getting: checking keysym definitions... Package xproto was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xproto.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'xproto' found configure: error: /X11 doesn't exist or isn't a directory I'm not sure what xproto.pc is and was not able to find anything helpful with searches... any suggestions? I do have build essentials installed: GNU Make 4.2.1 gcc (Ubuntu 9.3.0-10ubuntu2) 9.3.0 Edit: I did finally get further but still shows the prior version. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-09-28 18:27:07
