The first answer is "The old data must be lost". But we do not know why. As you stated, it should still be there unless you had deleted the data or changed the data directory for Sierra Chart and then not moved the data files. But, since you are on Package 5, you have access to the Historical Sierra Chart data, so you should be able get that data back.
