The issue described in post #1 again occurred near the morning of 2020-08-28. We quickly detected it, and disconnected the users from that server. We have not yet done the memory installation. It is being done this Saturday (2020-08-29 in the evening). Once this is done, this problem will not recur. We were hoping it was not going to reoccur but gradually the memory manager of the OS was beginning to run inefficiently due to the limited memory on the system and apparently was using the paging file which is going to provide degraded performance on a real-time system. If we also need to do additional hardware updates like adding new CPUs with additional cores we will do that but we do not think that will be necessary. This is a memory issue.
