Post From: Question About Chart Drawing Alerts

What I want is that I am alerted when the price crosses (either from above or from below) or is equal to a given indication price.
So my setting and my thinking is right.

The question again is what this has to do with the last bar? Sorry that I have to ask that again. But it makes no sense. Not everyone works with minutes, seconds, or tick bars. If one works with daily bars one could not care less if the price crossed an indication from yesterday to today.

There should be just an alert if the actual price crosses an indication, simple. This is not meant offending but I think this is really basic functionality, and honestly I never expected that kind of behavior.

If I am putting in a symbol alert with the same given price as I have on the drawn line, equally with "Crossing or equal to" I am also not immediately alerted if the price is above or below. And this is correct, why should it alert? There is absolutely no reason and no trigger for it.
