Hi. I'm wondering if you can give me some advice. I am currently using CQG (AMP Futures) for the live data feed to power my Sierra Chart software. But I'm not sure that it is a very good quality data feed. I use volume mostly in my trading system so a good quality data feed is important. I've been looking at other options and am wondering whether I would get better data if I spent a bit extra on the Sierra Chart Real Time Data Feed. I have been looking online for information about this and it would appear that this is a good data feed and that CQG are not highly regarded. I can't afford to use IQFeed and from what I have read the Sierra Chart data feed is comparable. I don't use the CQG trading platform as I live in the UK and use a separate spread betting platform, so I am only looking for a data feed to power my charts. My question is, as I only use the data to power my charts am I as well off sticking with CQG or is it worth paying the extra cost (which I must add is very reasonable) to use the Sierra Chart Real Time Data Feed as it would provide me with more accurate data? I am aware of the exchange fees etc and have read everything I can find about this on your website. Your opinion would be appreciated. Regards David |
