Pretty much NO ONE really trades the GCV (October) contract. Even the institutional traders skip directly to GCZ (December) instead at rollover. And knowing this, many retail brokers won't even support the October month on their platform. Best thing you can do to make sure you automatically skip October is to edit the Symbol Settings for Comex Gold by removing V from the contract months field. And make sure Use Custom Symbol Settings Values is also enabled. |
