I have been under the assumption that sierra chart was set up to allow lots of overlays. I am seeing that many FREE charting applications online i.e. trdding view allow multiple timeframe overlays very simply with no speed issues. AM i doing something wrong using the "STUDY/PRICE OVERLAY" from larger time frames onto smaller time frames? it appears that sierra chart does not like this too much and is constantly recalcualting the charts being referenced. it is tagging these charts. is this normal and or does it slow everything down? i read about chart tagging and recalcualtion but it didnt help me to understand what is really going on with the charts. thanks in advance. i do this for moving averages and some other stuff. |
