There is an exception occurring. We did not know that previously since that is a condition which never occurs under these kinds of circumstances which you describe.

Once that happens Sierra Chart will be in an unstable state leading to the problem. You will just need to close Sierra Chart. If you cannot do that normally, you can terminate it through the Task Manager. You do not need to restart your computer.

From what we know the problem occurs when you are modifying the quantity of an order and relates to a Microsoft dialog window for changing the order quantity.

We want you to update to the current version of Sierra Chart following the instructions here:
