Post From: Cutting Parallel Rays

I have read the following and AFAIK it does not address the reason for my post: Lines/Rays or Other Chart Drawings Move After Drawing Them - the anchors on my drawings are never in the right fill space. they are anchored to the high/low of chart bars that have already closed = the trajectories of the lines should remain stable (but they don't) - the terminal Y value of the individual rays is of no concern to me - charts are not using a logarithmic scale - this is not about mapping drawings onto a different bar scale More times than not when a parallel ray is cut, the trajectories of the lines change significantly. This requires manual intervention to fix the slopes. This takes time for each channel and this incremental addition to the use of this drawing tool makes it very inefficient day after day. Because channels are one of the most basic & fundamental tools for technical analysis please revise the cut algorithm so the lines do not need to be fixed after cutting. Thank you for the consideration. (there's also the issue of them flipping direction when cut instead of just getting shorter) |
