Hi, I was reading through the information on Attached Orders and wanted some quick clarification about what happens when the Parent Order fills in separate quantities. For example, I send a market order for 100 contracts to buy at 2500. I have an attached order Stop of 2 points and an attached order Target of 2 points. If the Parent Order fills for 50 contracts, which triggers the attached Stop order (placed at 2498) (now with a quantity of 50) and attached Target order (placed at 2502) (now with a quantity of 50), a. If the remaining 50 contracts fill at 2501, will they just lead to an increase in quantity of the original Stop order (at 2498) to 100 and the original Target order (at 2505) to 100? or b. Will there be new offsetting Attached Stop orders (placed at 2499) for 50 and attached Target orders (placed at 2593) for 50 based on the higher fill price of the last 50 contracts? c. So, will the Attached Orders always be based off the Original Parent Order that is filled first (even if the order is filled at different prices)? Thanks! |
