Consider following scenario: Stop Limit order: Stop PX= 18, Limit PX=18.1 Market hits PX=18 the Limit order is submitted to the exchange. Market stops trading at 18.05. When trading resumes market starts at 18.2. The limit order with PX= 18.1 won't get executed but I want to flatten position. When I have a child Stop order 18.15 the market order will be sent to the exchange. Does it make sense? May be other way to think about it: Stop and Stop Limit should cancel each other when one of them is executed Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-06-03 12:05:41
