Per my understanding (let me know if I am wrong) what you are saying is incorrect.A Stop limit order has two components: Stop price: when it is reached the Limit Order is sent to the exchange Limit price: the execution price of the limit order. Therefore when Limit Order is NOT executed due to market conditions, the previous Stop order is already done, that's why I want to have additional Stop order that should turn into market order at the stop order price. |
