Hi, I have been using the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study to mark some special bars. The nice thing about this approach is that: Once I set everything up for the one-minute chart, I can then do a "Duplicate Chart", change the intra-day time period of the new chart to "five minute", and a five-minute chart with all the special bars marked will appear. If I set up a "Spreadsheet System/Alert" study for the one-minute chart, and perform the above duplication process, would all the five-minute special bars be marked correctly ? I am considering using a spreadsheet because: a) If I assign one "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to one type of special bars, there will be about 15 such studies per chart. It may cause performance issues. b) As I continue to refine the definition of these special bars, the logical statements become longer and longer. Some of them have exceeded the limit of the Condition box: if I paste the whole logical statement into the Condition box, it will get truncated; if I try to manually type in the rest, nothing will appear. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-18 17:25:05
