I have already submitted a ticket about this which was then LOCKED with the following message pasted below (ref 2) - DESPITE that in the same ticket i already mentioned that i had followed the very same link / thread / instructions and they DID NOT resolve the problem 1. the locked ticket https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SupportTickets&Ticket=1588850768534#ViewTicket 2. the SC Engineering last message in the NOW LOCKED support ticket: "Please followup on the thread here: symbol data missing " The problem CONTINUES (despite having implemented the above instructions) and now happens with various Symbols not just ZB anymore - here is the latest error from TODAY SC Data - All Services | Real-time data for symbol GCG20_FUT_COMEX is currently unavailable. | 2020-05-20 03:39:10.235 SC Data - All Services | Received security definition for symbol GCG20_FUT_COMEX | 2020-05-20 03:39:10.235 SC Data - All Services | Real-time data for symbol GCM19_FUT_COMEX is currently unavailable. | 2020-05-20 03:39:10.235 SC Data - All Services | Received security definition for symbol GCM19_FUT_COMEX | 2020-05-20 03:39:10.235 Symbol Error - GCM20_FUT_COMEX is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. Symbol not specified. | 2020-05-20 03:39:10.235 The problem happens WHILE SC is working ie streaming data in progress - not me tinkering with symbols etc. As mentioned in the ORIGINAL and now LOCKED support ticket, the above type of problem occurs intermittently and the only way i could solve it so far was to disconnect and reconnect SC which is quite disruptive for both trading and market depth data recording Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-05-26 01:15:11
