I have tried that and it does not quite fix the problem. ssFST.png is as far as I can get and the columns are still too fat. If I adjust the bar spacing lower (using anyone of the three methods) the numbers become crushed vertically as in ssSND.png (even with the columns being quite wide). If I then try to zoom out vertically (using interactive scaling), the columns zoom out horizontally again and become fat.
