Hi, I 've written this message twice now to see it deleted due to some update on PC ..so as it is late I am going to be brief. And it's 3.30 am my time ! missed so many moves this week trying to work this out I've requested a trial with a broker and I was so looking forward to try Sierra charts. I got help for the download and that was it / basically on my own. First day Tuesday 28th I logged in thinking I'd be "sim trading and see how could I benefit from Sierra features ( MP and footprint etc). First of all , if I had known I would have researched and spend considerable time ( which I haven't got) to set up the charts prior to the trial..because it is quite lengthy to go through all the material on your website ..I did not know that and spent so much time ..I 've wasted two weeks trial and missed many market moves/ trades. On the first day it was obvious there were some data issue double checked tonight : same issue the YM high is close to 24148/150 when today's high in YM today was 23999 and cash market 24099 so it's not equivalent to anything not even September contract ?! There are obvious data issues .. ..emailed the broker..got no answer ..send a pic waited for answer got none / so this week/ on monday I've emailed your services and got an email back late Tuesday saying I needed to post it in "support" ....hence it is is Thursday, trial is almost over ..and in fact the broker has apparently disconnected me since I am reading "GAIN capital- user account is expired" So first question : a- can you Kindly re set a trial period for me as I wanted to try Sierra and did not managed to ..? b- if the answer is yes and I hope it is can you help me to resolve some of the issues( like the incorrect data I'm getting.. and help me with using the tools ..for instance I don't have a pointer on the chart so I can check high/ low close -open..of a specific candle/ Barchart . Same thing is drawing and horizontal line : it does not display the price level I just get a green line ..how do I get the price level to be indicated and corresponding to that line traced please? ( see pic attached )- Same for the profile: building previous day profile shape...there's a lag obviously . Display: I'd like TPO/ letters ..I have a default setting of colored cubes/ boxes and I don't know their significations ..I've right clicked on it to change settings to TPO / market split...chart does not respond / can not get the desired settings. I would like to see TPOs / the Value area as a vertical line / bell shape / POC and volume POC and volume on the right inside of the chart ( see a pic attached of the kind of profile I'd like to generate please) As it is I don't know what I am looking at Is there a lexicon so I can look up what I am looking at and make sense of it please ? What is the "grey" vs "green" boxes ? I assume the pink like is POC ? was about V -POC (volume POC) ..what is the turquoise vertical line ? ( the initial balance?) the horizontal line ? For the bar chart , how do I generate additional / different time frames , I currently only have default settings, week, day,1M,5M,10M and 30M how do I customize my time frames / choose different ones ? ... Same I can't find the moving average / indicators to add to charts please? How do I change background colors so I get it white / black (current setting) to have black bars o. white background or white and and black candles on back background ( see exemple of settings ) charts( something I am used to ) chart replay does not work either..and that is a great tool ..I'd really like that so I could at least do one full session since I've missed two weeks .. how do I generate a MP from a bar chart ) ?(right click/ duplicate and then choose chart settings ?) Can I get market internals ? ( ticks/ Trin/NYSE tick as "indicator" below chart ..could not find it either ( posted an example ) same for Barchart with volume and profile right inside footprint ( could not attached any as I've reached max upload I shall thank you in advance for your time and assistance |
