I have followed your instructions to setup SC-provided real time data for stocks, indexes and futures together with Interactive Brokers trading. In your manual (Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions) there's an item that should appear in the configuration panel as follows: "Perform Automatic Trading Account Check for SC Exchange Data Feed option". It does not appear in my version. Is the help file updated? Here's the relevant text for the applicable section: Automatic Monthly Confirmation of Live Trading Account Existence for Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed CME Data. This connection in the case of Interactive Brokers can happen automatically. Follow the instructions below. Select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings on the menu. Set the Service setting at the top to Interactive Brokers . Enable the Service Setting >> Perform Automatic Trading Account Check for SC Exchange Data Feed option. Connect to Interactive Brokers TWS by following the Setup Instructions on this page. This is necessary to ensure Sierra Chart can connect to Trader Workstation at any other time. Set the Service setting at the top back to SC Data - All Services. Press OK. |
