1. No, the symbol does not need to be accessed in the Main instance for the Sub-Instance to be getting the data. 2. If you want to have access to the SC Order Routing Service and to Interactive Brokers, then you will have to install another standalone Sierra Chart and set up the new one to connect to IB.
