Hi there, I trade stocks and as price of stocks are very varied, it's important to adjust order quantity with every stock. I looked into reset quantity on symbol change function, and read the sierra chart website description, but i still don't know exactly how to do that. First of all, the existing symbols in my symbol settings box, most of them i don't really recognize, maybe they're futures. I finally found a stock symbol OIH in there, and i changed the order quantity to custom of 80 shares, after that, I click on the "default quantities" button in trade window -set, but nothing happens. I added the custom button RQOSC, when i click on it, it doesn't seem to get activated as the color doesn't change. I tried adding AAPL into the symbol settings list and went through the same process, the default order quantity didn't change either. Could you tell me how exactly to go about setting default order quantity for a stock say SQ, is the symbol just SQ or something else? I use sierra chart data with IB as my broker.
