hi I started running into weird issues; 0) extremely slow to load, 1) lots of "improper argument' messages, for no clear reason, 2) text disappearing from menus, setting screens, etc - probably whole windows messed up, as text and fonts disappear out of other windows applications, including task manager to kill processes. I thought it might have had t do with my Pc (2 GHz, dual core, 4 logical, 8GB RAM physical, 16 GB virtual), running out of memory and processing power, so I created a copy in a new machine (32 core, 64 logical, 16GB RAM physical, 18GB virtual). Improper argument messages still there. I closed and reopened, and now the Keltner channels are not even showing on this chart, as example: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1586213296812.png Also, extremely slow to load. I typically work with 17 chartbooks open. each have several charts, and each chart has many indicators. Could you please advise as to whether I'm overloading Sierra with these many chartbooks/charts? Please advise how to get to the bottom of the cause of the error messages I'm getting? Any way to 'clean up' the rubbish left behind when removing indicators, resaving chartbooks, etc? Any way to find out if there are some corrupted portions? Some gral advise to optimize performance and speed? Thanks |
