Post From: Only CPU1 at 100% when running an intensive task

Dear Support

Following some issues essentially due to an old 2600K CPU I've upgraded specifically for Sierra Chart to an i7 9700K (not OC) with 32MB and 1TB M.2.

However, I still notice that its really only ever CPU1 that gets pushed to its max which is consistent with my other PC.

My question is this. Why given the power of C++ is the load not being distributed across the other cores? It often hits the 100% during certain activities (monitoring Sierra Chart only) and stays there during which time Sierra Charts waits, freezes or locks wrt user inputs until the load reduces. It's on the initial chartbook load that the other cores reach 100% and then only for a short space of time.

Look forward to your input.

Many thanks.
