While I do agree that it is frustrating, paying the extra $15 a month is covered by getting an extra 2 ticks on the ES in a month. If you use market depth to inform your trading that may be worth it. As far as I know, the DOM would still be usable for order entry, it just wouldn't show anything other than the inside bid/offer and the price. I don't record market depth during the trading day so if I ever look at replay that's how the DOM looks. The number bars don't require market depth, according to SC's documentation. It's basically an organized way of looking at time and sales and only uses actual transactions to be plotted. |
