No this is definitely not true. This is simply a case of network connectivity between the server and your computer. You are in China. It sounds like you are having a problem both with historical data and real-time data. In regards to real-time data try using the Low Bandwidth Mode option: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Low Bandwidth Option We also have a market data relay server for real-time data in London that might help.
