I noticed recently that my alert manager screen does not report a formula error I know I intentionally introduced an error in a formula by substituting an "i" instead of a "1". The study doesnt execute on the chart but no error is given in the alert manager. after I remove the error, the formula executes on the chart. The only change to my set up is I added 8 GB ram memory to 16Vs 8 before .to my Core i5"i5" computer running win 10 on Ver 1067/64. The freqeuncy of data losss seems reduced by he upgrade but not totally eliminated. Protected mode didnt help either.
