Hi SC, I'm afraid I need to revisit this... After getting the platform up again and ensuring that indeed the data files were converted and other files were deleted (after I shut down Sierra Charts - this time), I found that doing an unset on the trade activity data is still taking upwards of five minutes to be accomplished with Sierra Charts returning to live data. The other frustrating thing is that to bring up the platform after a full stop took over 15 closer to 20 minutes. The only other thing I've changed other than updating is to try to run a spreadsheet study. I was able to accomplish same, but it isn't a keeper and I've gone in and "cut" the formulas from the 4 columns in the spreadsheet (hoping to save resources) - to no avail. So I'm at a loss to explain the difference in unset times. It very well could be I didn't go about deleting the spreadsheet strat correctly... please advise. This is taking an hour out of days that are very rare.. |
