Ok.. well that didn't work as expected. I did disconnect and did the two processes (SC was not running) and it never came back up to let me reconnect. Exiting and restarting won't even repopulate the charts. Any suggestions...Thanks for your help I kept at this-and after a reboot I got an error message from some custom indicator software I use that said my licence had expired. (turns out I had renewed it but didn't get it reinstalled properly - had it for a year and that was a first...). luck would have it that this happened when you were helping me fix a slow unset process.
