Sorry if I state the obvious, but you can't expect to be able to debug in VS if the debug build of your code failed (as indicated by the statement below) -
Yes, I accept your apology for stating the obvious , which we already know.If your custom developed code will compile using the 'Remote Build' function, but not locally using the 'Build with C++ -Debug' function, then maybe there is a problem with one or more of the header files in the sierrachart\ASCSource folder. Did you already try downloading a clean version of sierrachart to check for this?
Yes,that crossed my mind, which I then copied up my complete Sierra folder to my back up server and then upgraded to build 2028. Still the same result. |
