I just began looking for ways to address exactly this, and also am very much looking forward to more information. In my case I believe the unexpected results I'm seeing are because I am plotting a time-based MA onto a Renko chart, and so there are sudden crazy moves in the MA from periods of time that the MA is not taking into account (sessions are closed, long periods of time with little price action, etc.). I will be keeping an eye on this thread for sure. |
