This would be great, but unless SC also provides a local server, eg, in Japan for JPX trading, then IB data is actually the better option for for latency for anyone not based in the US but trading Asian markets. IB have a Hong Kong server, so local Asia-based traders can trade on that hub, which is at least regional and vastly closer than trading Asian markets [from a PC in EU or Asia] via a Chicago hub. Reference the recent concerns of traders in Europe trading local Eurex exchange via a Chicago hub. It makes no sense.

None of that matters if you are based in the US. But most Asian market traders are not.

If you are in Japan trading JPX using AMP and SC, here is what happens:

1. Market data is sent from JPX to Chicago
2. That data sent from Chicago back to your PC in Japan
3. You click buy, order is sent to Chicago server
4. Your order is sent from Chicago back to Japan
5. Order fill confirmation is sent from Japan to Chicago
6. Order fill confirmation is sent from Chicago to your PC in Japan

All that time, you could live 20 minutes walk from the JPX data center. Insane.

CQG has a server in Japan and other Asian countries, but most US brokers do not use them.

Unless SC data services can resolve this, you may as well just stick with CQG, or use IB.

There are brokers who will route you via the CQG Japan server, but they are expensive and/or do not support SC. The cleanest option is to use CQG IC, at $1000+ per month[!!]
