Hi support, I am using this method to run server instance for SC Exchange Data Feed and connect various client instances - https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MultipleServices.html#AccessingMarketDataFromOtherInstancesOfSierra%20Chart As of v2010, when using this feature in conjunction with Rithmic Trading, I receive live data & depth ok, but historical intraday data does not download. The message logs shows this error - HD Request # 2 | Downloading Intraday chart data for CLZ9-NYMEX to the file CLZ9-NYMEX.scid. Service: nymex | 2019-11-14 04:12:09.290
HD Request # 2 | Download start date-time: 2019-11-14 04:10:33.000 | 2019-11-14 04:12:09.291 HD Request # 2 | Using server: port 10149 | 2019-11-14 04:12:09.291 Socket (0) | Address is empty. | 2019-11-14 04:12:09.291 HD Request # 2 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for CLZ9-NYMEX. Initial error connecting socket. | 2019-11-14 04:12:09.300 I have reverted to v2007 for the Rithmic instance, and now data downloads ok from the SC Data server instance. Using the exact same functionality with Transact Trading and v2010, I see no such problem. I understand that this is a feature for which you will not provide technical support, but I don't understand why it has ceased to function correctly in this instance. |
