copied from open ticket #1572475527166 This system notice was sent to me: -Notice: To continue to receive real-time CME data through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed when using the lower-priced CME exchange fees which are enabled on your account, requires that you connect Sierra Chart to your live trading account at least once a month. For instructions, refer to: I now have one instance of SC using SC Barchart data, and another instance/separate copy using Transact WS trading acct data. If I disconnect from Transact for a month using only Transact DOM to enter and exit trades, will exchange fees through SC data only then increase, per notice above? Since I am live every day through transact, how do I connect live every day with SC Data only? Is this a question for Spt Board? Right now, I have both copies up and running (SC on SC data and SC on TA WS. But would that satisfy the above requirement of Live connect for SC Data? In a link you sent it says: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers [Link] - [Top] If Sierra Chart is connected to a Data only service, then it is only connected to the market data server of the Data service you are using. If Sierra Chart is connected to a Trading service, then Sierra Chart will be connected to both a market data server and a trading server. These could be the same servers or separate. In almost all cases they are separate. How does this relate to: Global settings>data/trade service settings vs the system notice? If Sierra Chart is connected to a Trading service, then Sierra Chart will be connected to both a market data server and a trading server. Thank you for your help in setting up fast trading connections. |
