Ok, thanks. Has something recently changed to the way market data is downloaded from your servers or stored in SC? Is it no longer compressed? I had no problems in the past but now it takes at least a day to download data and the downloaded data fills up the HD 100% (then I have to delete all the data). I have the same amount of charts open as I did in the past and have actually reduced the amount of data on each chart. Also, I have six instances open. Do I need to transfer each of the /Data/ folders to a different HD? Is there a particular reason each instance has to have its own /Data/ folder? Surely, it would be much simpler and performant to have all the instances share one /Data/ folder on the main instance (like in TradeStation and MultiCharts)? There is duplicate data in each of the /Data/ folders which uses up HD space and you have to copy custom studies and chart setups from one instance to another. Very confusing and wastes a lot of time. |
