Hello, currently I use Sierra with IB, they will start a zero-commission rate plan this month. Will I be able to connect Sierra to this new platform at some point in the future?

https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=45196

The above link near the end of the page displays a box that says IBKR Lite or IBKR Pro and selecting the Compare Plans button shows the differences.

The new zero-commission platform has a Client Portal but not Trader Workstation (TWS).

Also, do you currently connect to any broker that offers zero commissions, one that I tried was Firstrade but could not continue because I need Sierra to be able to trade.

Edit:

Just noticed that Ameritrade will be going to zero commissions as well which is one of the brokers you work with. From their site it looks like it will be the same platform they currently use and not an online portal. This is really great news, I would switch to Ameritrade from IB if Sierra was able to connect to them.

Edit 2:

I just found your message regarding the discontinuation of Ameritrade with Sierra but I noticed on the IB website that they have an API that connects to their Client Portal which is the platform that will offer the zero commissions.

From their site:
REST API
FIX CTCI
WT Web API
