No, all I need is End Of Day data for my analysis. What you are saying is that I can type any stock symbol in the "Find Symbol" tab for any stock in the NYSE. Does that include any stocks I want to look up on the NASDAQ and S&P500. What about ETFs? Earlier on I was told that I needed to set up a symbol list for all the stocks in the NYSE for me to do any scanning because there could be well over 5000 stocks. You already have the data base for all stocks from what you are telling me, so why do I have to worry about creating a symbol list which I may have to update regularly according to support at the NYSE. Why can't I just create a scan condition and use your data base to find candidates that meet the scan criteria. Also I would appreciate if some one could help me to write a simple scan condition like a moving average crossing over another moving average. Or are there any predefined scans that have been written for me to look at and study from. Regards, J. Cilmi |
