I saw that the study, "open interest", does not apply on intra-day chart. However, when I apply the study on the mini ES futures, the OI studies is updated in real time. May I ask is it truly representing the true OI for the futures or it uses other indirect way to calculate the numbers of opened positions? Thank you.
