From your screenshot, it appears you are talking about the Chart tabs, as opposed to the Chartbook tabs. In either case, there is no programmatic way to sort them. But, you can grab and move the tabs around as you want. Also, with the Chart tabs (but not the Chartbook tabs), you can reorder the list using the Window >> Windows and Chartbooks window.
