I have Global Settings | Global Symbol Settings | Use Global Trade Position Limit set. I made an order quantity error today which was orders of magnitude bigger than my Global Limit and my clearing firm contacted me. I'm confused about why this order wasn't rejected Sierra side, but actually transmitted and only blocked at the clearing firm level. Obviously it is my responsibility to be careful about entering orders but any additional protection afforded by the platform would be most welcome. |
