Do you consider a sub-instance running on a second computer to be a second system? Yes this will be counted as a second system. To begin with, nothing has changed in terms of the allowed number of systems. Your account is setup to run 2 separate instances of Sierra Chart, which means running the Sierra Chart application on 2 different computers at the same time. That is the only restriction. This is explained here: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Licensing / Number of Systems A Sub-Instance of Sierra Chart is started when you select the option File >> New Instance. These Sub-Instances do not count toward the instances limit, as these are running on the same computer. Refer to the information on Sub-Instances here: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance We cannot say why something was working and why something wasn't working. The information we gave you above are the rules and give you the information on what can work. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
