Thank you :) I know that. Every morning I might create 6-12 new charts via an associated watchlist. I would rather not then go through that menu process to disable title bars in each one. And once I did that, closing those charts becomes a very labour intensive effort. It is faster to create a new chart book for every trading day when each trading day might focus on a different set of symbols. Hence my post #3, the workaround. I guess I am learning that SC is simply not user-streamlined for dynamic multi-symbol trading. This statement also crosses over into the inefficiency of opening a Trading DOM on the fly for a new symbol and having that DOM use a default layout. It also overlaps into the Trading DOM topic, because opening charts via a watchlist will populate any open Trading DOMS with those symbols. When what the trader wants is to quickly open a portfolio of charts. I understand that within SC architecture, a TD is a chart. But from a traders' eyeball perspective, a chart and a TD have two very different roles and we should be able to manage and control them quite distinctly. System architecture should perhaps reflect user end-needs. |
