I followed the instructions in the Update Symbol Settings, I didn’t do the Full Reset of Symbol Settings which was in the next section. I also went in and deleted the files in the data folder so they would be downloaded again and then clicked Apply Global Symbol Settings and when I tried to place an order I received the same error messages. I don’t know if this makes a difference I only tried this with the second installation which is in its own folder, I have two connections enabled with Sierra. When the market closes I thought I’d do this with the other installation. Awhile back I had to manually change all my stock charts’ intraday sessions to 9:30:00 to 15:59:59 and futures to 18:00:00 to 17:59:59 because they were set to all begin at midnight 00:00:00 to 23:59:59. If you write back and say to do a Full Reset of Symbol Settings is there a way to keep the current time settings that I’ve set up for all my charts? When I did the Update Symbol Settings I left the box that was already checked for Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart. Reading the instructions, I noticed that it said further down on the page to disable the checkbox “if you do not want the Session Times settings in the chart changed.” Even though I left the box checked all the intraday times are how they were before the update 9:30 to 15:59 etc. Could you clarify if I should leave the box checked or unchecked to keep my current times settings if you tell me to do a full reset. I noticed something else that I thought might fix the problem but it didn’t. In the Global System Settings when you scroll to find SPXS under the Historical tab is had MSFT written there. I deleted it and downloaded the data again but received the same error message when trying to place an order. |
