Yes, the current default when you add SC's RSI study to your chart is still flawed. Most modern charting services these days default to the faster regular EMA for the internal smoothing of the RSI. SC is the still the exception, using an incorrect SMA as its default for some reason. RSI-W will get you the original RSI with Wilders Moving Average (which is a slower EMA). |
