The problem with using the Vertical grid lines for the session dividers, is that that only works if you don't want to use the vertical grid for anything else. Personally I use tick charts (Sierra calls them "Number of Trades Per Bar"), and I like to set the vertical grid to a number of minutes, so I can still see an indication of how price is moving from a time perspective. So I use the "Time Line" study to mark the session start and end times - Time Line . This also allows me to make the session divider lines a different color than the time-based vertical grid lines. Works great! |
