I was able to trigger this feature by 1) closing all my chartbooks (chart stats tab of Trade Activity Log shows no position, no P&L) 2) opening a new chartbook, opening a new intraday chart for the loss symbol 3) turning on chart trade mode. It now shows the daily loss correctly. However, I had chart trade mode turned on in this symbol in my other chartbook, the total loss showed in the Trade Activity Log, and yet the P&L window in the Global Profit/Loss Management box showed positive on the day whereas the Trade Activity Log showed the (correct) negative figure.
