Please forgive me, I am not a programmer but I have a layman's idea/question in regards to how the historical data works. 1. When a user adds the suffix -BAAVG to the end of a symbol, I assume SC recalculates the chart and creates a new chart based on on that suffix. The software performs a calculation on the historical data to create what basically amounts to a new BAAVG symbol (adds the bid and ask and divides by 2). Since SC has the ability to calculate a new chart in this way. Would it be possible to somehow simply extend this functionality so that it can handle custom symbols instead of completely overhauling how the historical data works with custom symbols? Once again, my apologies if this is an ignorant question. Just brainstorming... |
