The custom symbols capability really isn't the issue and doesn't apply here. We do not know how you come to this conclusion. The new feature we have added which is not yet documented, is exactly what you want. We will write up documentation for this and provide a link in the next few days.Watch the current bar and how it will retrace and not print the entire price history. This is expected when using a study like the Difference (Bar) study and is documented. What we would not expect and something we could never reproduce, is where when recalculate the chart, you are seeing a different result at historical bars created during real-time updating from a study like the Difference (Bar) study. So there must be something more complex that you are doing that we cannot see because you are providing an extremely narrow and hidden context of what you are doing. So in essence what you are showing us is next to useless. In any case one thing came to mind about about studies referencing other charts like the Difference (Bar) study that we want to improve upon and we will do that but we do not think that is related to the core issue you are having.
