I just moved to a new computer, which also entailed a move from Windows 7 Home to Windows 10 Pro. I have three monitors left to right, with the middle monitor selected as the "main" monitor. The first instance of Sierra runs on the first 2 monitors, a second instance runs on the third monitor. With respect to the first instance, the main Sierra window is located on the second (or middle, or main) monitor. A number of detached windows are placed on the first (or left) monitor. When the system goes to sleep and then I wake it up, all of the detached windows are now in the middle monitor, and I have to move them back to where I want them. It's a real pain. This was not the case with my prior computer and Windows 7. Any thoughts on how to prevent this? Thanks. |
